my fingers crossed for a late 2026 release.

It's been two years since the dark comedy debuted on the streaming service, taking Ritchie's hit movie of the same name and creating a new unhinged drama set in an identical world. This time, we follow Eddie (Theo James) an aristocrat who inherits his family estate... that just so happens to be an underground marijuana-growing empire. On top of that, the Halstead family and their staff aren't exactly calm and demure folk. Luckily for me, I got some inside scoop from James himself. Not only is season 2 "finished" and will be released this year, but it's set to be a lot "darker" than anything we saw in season 1. be coming out in the fall [US]."

Result! Our release date window is confirmed, and I was on the money. Annoyingly, this could be any time between September-November, which Netflix likely won't confirm until closer to the time. My money is on October, or late September at the earliest my guess is that Netflix will want it released with enough time to spare before Christmas.

But what can we expect? "It's fun, and still funny. But it's also darker,
goes a little wild," James continues.

If season 1 wasn't "a little wild" already, I'm almost scared to think what's in store for The Gentlemen season 2. Freddy's (Daniel Ings) deranged chicken moment at the very beginning of season 1 is something I'll never be able to get... so the challenge is well and truly on to top it.
