as the iconic villain, Max Cady Apple TV 's Cape Fear series has been on my radar for a while, and I was so excited to see the first trailer. The horror-crime movie remains one of Scorsese's best works, and I'm feeling good about the TV adaptation.

Cape Fear sees Javier Bardem stepping into the shoes of Max Cady, a man who is fresh out of prison and seeking revenge on the public defenders who hid evidence from him. In the first-look trailer, we also get a look at happily married attorneys Anna (Amy Adams) and Tom (Patrick Wilson), who seem to be living the perfect life. Until Cady shows up, of course, giving them exactly what he believes they deserve. And as a Simpsons fan, I have appreciated all the memes about this already, referencing that iconic Sideshow Bob episode. It just proves how iconic Cape Fear still is.
