Vivo has officially launched the X300 Ultra phone in China The device comes with a huge 400mm telephoto lens attachment It also offers additional lens add-ons and other photo features Earlier in March at MWC in Barcelona, Vivo teased its new X300 Ultra flagship . But this wasnt any old phone reveal, as the device appeared with an enormous 400mm telephoto lens attachment made by imaging firm Zeiss, leading us to wonder whether it could be the best camera phone ever made.

Well, the X300 Ultra has now been officially launched , but if you want to
get your hands on it, note that its only available in China for now. Its
price starts at 6,999 yuan (about $1,012 / 768 / $1,477 AUD), with the top-tier configuration going for 8,999 yuan (about $1,300 / 987 / $1,899
AUD). Details on a global release date havent yet been made public, so stay tuned for more information on that front. Its not just the eye-catching lens that could grab the headlines. The Vivo X300 Ultra is outfitted with a 1/1.12-inch 200MP Sony sensor, allowing you to take hugely detailed images, with or without that sizeable 400mm telephoto add-on. Aside from that, theres also a 35mm main camera, plus a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP True Color camera on the back. That gives you plenty of options
for capturing the images you want in any given situation.

Vivo also claims its X300 Ultra is a strong video contender, too. Thats
thanks to its support for the APV codec , which was developed by Samsung for high-grade video use cases. can get with the X300 Ultra. Theres a Cannon 400 teleconverter with 17.4x zoom, a Lipstick 200 add-on with 8.7x zoom, and an Imaging Grip Kit that offers improved handling and active cooling.

Elsewhere, the X300 Ultra runs on a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and can be configured to come with up to 16GB of memory and up to 1TB of storage.
