    Robin Hood episode 7 drops on MGM+ this weekend, but I doubt it can beat the scene that terrified its own cast

    Description:
    Last week's episode of Robin Hood might have had the scene of all scenes, so much so that anything else is automatically in the shade.

    FULL STORY ======================================================================

    Robin Hood on MGM+ hasn't been short of scenes that leave your jaw on the floor. From explicit sex scenes to outright gore and guts, no stone has been left unturned.

    For me, one of the most enjoyable parts of the Amazon series is the distant rivalry between the Sheriff of Nottingham (Sean Bean) and Eleanor of
    Aquitaine (Connie Nielsen). While the Sheriff is hell-bent on progressing his own power, Eleanor is trying to make new allies through written correspondence.

    It's not until Robin Hood episode 6 that the two are brought face-to-face, with the Sheriff hosting an epic party where a myriad of hidden motives are brought to the surface.

    I already thought it would be difficult for Robin Hood episode 7 to top it (the next episode drops on December 7), but after speaking to the cast, it's clear that the show has definitely passed it's most "terrifying" scene. It
    was nerve wracking to be the one who screwed up: Robin Hood's cast on 'terrifying' party scene Episode 6's party scene was meticulously shot.

    "First of all, it was a marathon because it was over two days," Connie
    Nielsen tells me about the episode 6 shoot. "It was this plethora of characters that all had to fit in there. We were also trying to make sure it all made sense now that we were all together... who could be present and so on, and what was very long.

    "We have a lot of things to say and a lot of moving pieces. It was huge scene and this beautiful setting was entirely constructed on sound stages in Serbia with an attention to detail that was really remarkable. Everyone who is working there still had access to all the artisanship and knowledge of how to hand make everything the way they were made back in the Middle Ages to this day," she says.

    "You get this real sense of the intricacy of all of these arts and crafts,
    and they're present in the inside of us, because we can feel it. It informs our performances. It was a lot of fun with Steve Waddington (Earl of Huntingdon) at last night's dinner for the cast and crew... he was laughing
    at how that scene had been awful for him.

    "Halfway through, he has two really important lines, and he was so terrified that he would f**k up his line. That would mean reshooting everything
    starting from that point. I think, for some the characters, it was quite nerve-wracking to not be the one who screwed up their lines."

    Simply put... take that, episode 7. Let's see what you've got.

    Robin Hood episode 6 is available to stream on MGM+ now.
