Right.. We had a high of 6c today (43f) with them bouncing
back and forth if we were going to get rain, snow or freezing
rain overnight as it drops to -1c (30f) so, it's a little hard
to get through my head that spring has sprung.. B)

I remember those days, having grown up in Detroit, MI where the weather conditions
changed quickly. We moved to the Fort Lauderdale area in 1981 and have never looked
    back.

We now live in the Tampa, FL area where it tends to get about 7-10 degrees cooler on
average than we were used to. We still maintain warmer weather on average than the
rest of the U.S., but not nearly as warm as it has been in California laltely.

I saw a story on 60 Minutes tonight where conspiracy theorists claim that our sever
storms are caused by weather doppler radar stations. I kind of wish that were true
because we would have a way to provide rain to places that need it and eliminate the
severe weather that seems to be more prevalent now than ever before.

Of course, that is all a crock.
