• NASA picture of the day

From Rob Robinson@954:100/1 to All on Sunday, November 09, 2025 16:15:34
I used to come by the downloads here and grab the latest NASA pictures of the ay, but
they haven't been here anymore. I'm sure I could easily find them through
other means, it's just a change in my routine.

Not a serious complaint, but I do wonder if something happened there.

    Peace,
    Rob

I uh, think I answered my own question. The I think the government shutdown
    may be related here...

I used to grab them direct from NASA along with 3 other IOTD they ran.
Since the Government shutdown, there is no one there to run the sites. I also see the hosting farm has lapsed and pops up default, "This Account is Closed".

Thanks. Yeah, I remembered that the shutdown happened about the exact time I hit send on that! Now that the Dems folded and the shutdown was for nothing, maybe I can at least get my pretty space pictures again, so there's that.

I saw the 2nd post but I had already sent mine, too. LOL

I save them as screensaver images and have them rotate.
