    Almost all games do. They have an intro to get you used to the gameplay before getting into the real game. I haven't seen many games that don't.

    That's not worth my time. If the game isn't going to teach me, I'm not going to play. It's just not fun that way.

    I am not a gamer but I suspect that most games don't have a teaching mode, do they?

    Tutorials are very popular for single player games, and even many of those that don't have tutorials might introduce new mechanics one at a time so the player gets to become familiar slowly with them.
