• Mystic Using old address instead of new when polling

From Jeff Earle@21:1/216 to All on Saturday, June 14, 2025 08:25:54
    Hello all,
Something very weird in my Mystic setup.
Recently, I had to change my node #s and host to poll for those nets.
I think I changed everything properly in Mystic Config:
    Networking:
Echomail Addresses - Changed from the old to the new
Echomail Nodes - Changed Sysop Name, Address, BinkP Hostname & port
*.ini Files - All references to the old node to the new

Now the weird part, when polling the new host, Mysic still keeps using my old node # instead of the new. This is baffling as I cannot figure out what I may have missed.
Any insights? Do I have to delete the old echomail node and create a new one for the host?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Any time I make a change to the configuration, I've found that I have to restart mis. Have you done that?

Oh yes, everytime I make a change I take down the servers (exit MIS), make the changes and then start up MIS. That does not seem to make a difference. Still uses the old addresses.
