Rain will be widespread in the morning, turning to sleet and wet snow at times, particularly over higher ground, though no significant accumulation is expected. Skies will remain predominantly cloudy throughout the day with some clearances developing during the afternoon. Winds will be strong to very strong from the west to northwest, gusting 40-65 kph across most areas. Maximum temperatures will struggle to reach 3-7?C, but feeling much colder in the fresh to strong winds with wind chill values well below freezing at times.
