Help, How can I change what editor MM uses? I absolutely HATE VIM. Or is there a better QWK reader for linux? MM was the only one that came up in the Software manager.

Have you done any configurating of it yet? Do you have this:

    ~/.mmailrc

If so, any configuration should be done there.

You need to find the configuration file, on my linux box it's a
hidden file named ".mmailrc" in my home folder. Just edit with nano
or whatever text editor you want.

The author needs to add a config program into the MM program so you can make changes on the fly from inside the app. Would make things so much easier.

you should be able to change it in the configuration file IIRC.

To set a different editor edit the .mmailrc file in your home directory
    and add:
    editor: nano

    Thanks,

For sure. When it first runs, it asks if you want to edit .mmailrc
file, but, it uses the VIM editor, which I also severely dislike. If
it asked which editor to use in the initial edit, that would be
    great.

You can, I use multimail for Linux and the relevant line is

    # Editor for replies = $EDITOR; or if not defined, vi
    editor: emacsclient

As you can see, I set my editor to "emacsclient", but anything will work.

I didn't see that question when I first ran it. But presenting a drop down menu listing the available editor options WOULD be ideal. As well as ones for setting the directories where to find the qwk files and where to place the rep files.
