Hi, UG.
Next trip I will buy some store brand salad cream and maybe some Robinsons Relish.
I imagine off-brand salad cream is pretty variable - most people stick to Heinz for sauces (particularly ketchup) even if they aren't normally fussy about brands.
I'm not sure I've ever seen Robinsons relish? Google seems to be struggling a bit too, it seems to rather point me at Robinson's squash (cordial type drink if that word doesn't travel well) or Henderson's relish which seems to be some kind of Worcestershire sauce. Both are fairly typical Brit food that I don't remember seeing anywhere outside the UK or holiday resorts with a lot of Brits.
I bought me some Maramite in my luggage last month and a box of wheatabix.
Heha - when you've lived in a country all your life you don't realise what weird things you have that are not universal across the world. I was vaguely aware that Marmite was mostly a UK thing, though the Australians have Vegemite which seems to be the same. I always assumed that Weetabix was a global thing, though.
I guess your Weetabix were mostly dust by the time you got them home, no?
